Prom transportation: a planning guide for groups.

A good prom night runs on a simple plan. Here is how to build one before you book.

Start with the group

Count how many are travelling, who rides together, and where each person is collected. The group size decides the vehicle, and the pickup addresses decide the timeline.

Pick the vehicle

A stretch limousine gives the classic arrival for a group of friends. A Luxury SUV suits a smaller party. A minibus keeps a larger group together in one vehicle. Seating varies by vehicle, so ask for it in writing.

Build the timeline backwards

Start from the time doors open at the venue, then work back: arrival, photo stops, each pickup and the time the first pickup begins. Add a little margin for the unexpected, and agree the plan with everyone in the group.

Photo stops and pickups

Decide in advance where the group wants photographs and how long each stop takes. Pickups run faster when each address is confirmed and someone is ready at the door.

The return

Agree the end time and where each passenger is dropped before the night starts. A clear return plan matters as much as the arrival.

Book early

Prom dates cluster in the spring. Request your quote as early as you can, and wait for written confirmation of availability rather than assuming a date is held.

What to confirm in writing

The vehicle and its seating, every pickup time, the venue drop-off, the waiting-time terms, and a mobile number for the person in charge on the night. Check the venue and school rules too.

Questions

How many fit in a stretch limousine?

It depends on the specific vehicle. Seating is confirmed on your written quote.

Should we book one vehicle or two?

If the group is bigger than one vehicle seats, we can plan several vehicles on one schedule, or a minibus for everyone.
